Town Hall Tower reopening, from 1st April 2025

The Town Hall Tower is open to the public again, from 1 April 2025, with continuous hours from 10:00 to 18:00, for the whole season – except adverse weather conditions – until next November. The prices for access remain unchanged compared to last year: ticket for the tower 5 euro, for the terrace 2.50 euro.

Town Hall of Montepulciano, overlooking Piazza Grande, is a building dating back to the thirteenth century, renovated by Michelozzo during the fifteenth century. From the Tower you can see a splendid panorama and, during clear days, admire on one side the Valdichiana, the lakes of Montepulciano, Chiusi, Trasimeno and the Apennines; on the other side the Monte Amiata, Val d’Orcia, Pienza, Montalcino and in the distance, the towers of Siena.
