The Christmas atmosphere in Montepulciano begins to fill the air from the end of November. Lots of events, lots of activities to really enjoy the most festive time of the year. A Christmas market with dozens and dozens of wooden chalets and Santa’s Castle.
Even Santa Claus thinks that Montepulciano is a great place to live. So much so, that he has decided to move here and set up home. A home inside a real castle, where the elves work at full speed and Santa himself enjoys meeting all his young friends. The excitement begins in November, with a whole series of activities and events, and in the streets and squares of the old town you can sense the Christmas atmosphere in the air. In Piazza Grande and the neighbouring streets, a busy Christmas market with lots of wooden chalets offers the best of local crafts and food. Families and children are welcome!
