Sustainable Tourism Questionnaire: Ongoing Listening Campaign
As you may know, the Municipality of Montepulciano was awarded the “Sustainable Tourism Destination” certification on February 12, 2024, according to the precise standards set by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC-D), a non-profit organization representing a wide range of members worldwide, including United Nations agencies, NGOs, and national governments.
One of the key actions necessary to achieve this goal was the development of a structured listening campaign involving three categories: businesses, residents, and visitors, through the completion of simple, anonymous questionnaires. These questionnaires aim to better understand how tourism is perceived in Montepulciano, but also to actively involve these stakeholders in future decisions by requesting suggestions and constructive feedback, in order to further improve sustainability.
The campaign is still ongoing and serves to continuously collect the opinions of residents, visitors, and businesses:

Your responses will be completely anonymous and the data will be used exclusively for research purposes and to adopt concrete measures to improve and make tourism in Montepulciano increasingly sustainable. The system does not allow the completion of multiple questionnaires from the same IP address, however, we trust in your good faith.
The project is being carried out in collaboration with the University of Siena, the Consorzio del Vino Nobile, the Strada del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano e dei Sapori della Valdichiana Senese, and the Chamber of Commerce of Arezzo-Siena, in addition to an operational-consultative work team within the administration.
