A “NOBLE” WINE… AND SUSTAINABLE

The Consorzio del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano has been a trailblazer in terms of sustainability. Since May 24, 2022, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is the first (and currently only) Italian wine denomination to be able to boast the sustainability certification mark according to the Equalitas standard (one of the most relevant standards of its kind). This goal, which does not only concern wine, but the entire territory including the citizens who live there, has been achieved thanks to a long-term journey, begun many years ago by the Consortium, in unsuspecting times.
