Attive le due postazioni di bike sharing “Green Hills” a Montepulciano

Con l’arrivo della primavera tornano attive le due postazioni di noleggio bici a Montepulciano

Da marzo, scoprire Montepulciano in bici si può, noleggiando biciclette sia classiche che a pedalata assistita dalle postazioni in Piazza Don Minzoni a Montepulciano e a Montepulciano Stazione, di fronte alla stazione ferroviaria. Le stazioni fanno parte del circuito “Green Hills”, presente nei Comuni della Valdichiana Senese, vedi qui la mappa con le dieci stazioni di bike sharing.

Come fare?
Per noleggiare la bici, è necessario scaricare l’app Weelo e cercare sulla mappa la stazione di bike sharing. Una volta raggiunta, si dovrà indicare sull’app il numero della colonnina dalla quale si preleva la bici, aspettare che la luce verde lampeggi e il dispositivo emetta dei “bip”. Quando i “bip” saranno in sequenza ravvicinata, si potrà sganciare la bici dalla postazione, sollevandola leggermente e tirandola con decisione verso destra. 

Quanto costa?
Per noleggiare la bici, si può scegliere tra due modalità di pagamento, entrambe con carta di credito:

• Ricaricabile: 15€ di credito incluso, senza scadenza. Si paga solo il tempo di utilizzo, pari a 3€ per ora o frazione.
• Abbonamento annuale: 50€, valido per 365 giorni. La cifra comprende 40€ di quota fissa e 10€ di credito incluso. Il tempo di utilizzo è pari a 2€ per ora o frazione, con mezz’ora gratuita per ogni noleggio.

In caso di esaurimento del credito, si puà ricaricare a partire da 5€.

Come si riconsegna la bici?
Al termine dell’escursione, si può riconsegnare la bici nella stazione di bike sharing dove si è prelevata o presso un’altra stazione “Green Hills”. Basta inserire la bici in una delle colonnine libere e assicurarsi che rimanga saldamente ancorata; i tre ‘bip’ con luce verde confermano l’avvenuta riconsegna.

With the arrival of spring, the two bike rental stations in Montepulciano are activated

Starting from March, discover Montepulciano by bike. You can rent classic and electric bicycles from the stations in Piazza Don Minzoni in Montepulciano and Montepulciano Station, opposite the train station. The stations are part of the circuit “Green Hills”, present in the municipalities of Valdichiana Senese, see here the map with the ten bike sharing stations.

How to do?
To rent a bike, you need to download the Weelo app and search on the map for the bike sharing station. Once reached, you will have to indicate on the app the number of the column from which you pick up the bike, wait for the green light flashes and the device emits “beeps”. When the “beeps” will be in close sequence, you can unhook the bike from the station, lifting it slightly and pulling it with decision towards the right.

How much does it cost?
To rent the bike, you can choose between two payment methods, both with credit card:

• Rechargeable: 15€ credit included, without expiration. You pay only the time of use, equal to 3€ per hour or fraction.
• Annual subscription: 50€, valid for 365 days. The figure includes 40€ fixed fee and 10€ credit included. The usage time is 2€ per hour or fraction, with half an hour free for each rental.

In case of exhaustion of the credit, you can recharge from 5€.

How do you return the bike?
At the end of the tour, you can return your bike to the bike sharing station where it was picked up or at another “Green Hills” station. Simply place the bike in one of the free stands and make sure it stays firmly anchored; the three ‘beeps’ with green light confirm that the bike has been returned.
